The large particle pre-filter extends the overall life of this amazing filter by preventing larger particles from clogging up the HEPA technology. The activated carbon/zeolite blend with potassium iodide removes toxic chemical vapors and noxious household odors. The final component is the true medical grade HEPA which filters out 99.97% of all particles down to 0.3 microns leaving your air virtually allergen free.
